This donation was chosen by Jemma Lubs. She chose the Chippewa Falls Middle School Student Council. She has been a member all three years in middle school and saw first hand how fundraisers work and the potential of what more money could do to benefit the program. The advisors, Sara Carlson and Kimberly Meller, are excited about this donation. They are hoping to send student council members to a leadership training this year and also develop a mental health awareness week at the middle school. This means so much to them, to Jemma and to our foundation because we are aware of how much young people’s mental health has suffered in recent years. Students need to be aware of what kind of help is out there and how they can learn to manage their own mental well-being with tools such as exercise, healthy eating, art and music therapy and more. We were happy to donate $2,000 to this cause.
