Wednesday, November 3rd, 2021 marks the 3-year anniversary of the unspeakable tragedy that took Jayna, Autumn, Haylee, and Sara from us so suddenly.  The Jayna Kelley Memorial Foundation is dedicated to preserving the memory of our beloved Jayna and making the world a better place in her honor.  Over the 8 days leading up to the 3rd, Jayna’s 2021 gifts to the world will be announced.  Each of the 6 foundation board members, along with Jayna’s sister Terra, were asked to help us spread the available funds in order to make a broad impact on the community.  We can’t wait to show everyone how Jayna is continuing to improve MANY lives by her foundation’s support of 10 local causes!  She couldn’t have done this without the amazing generosity of so many people.  Thank you!!

Eau Claire County Humane Association – $5,000

For over 50 years, the Eau Claire County Humane Association (ECCHA) has been an important part of our community, providing comfort and hope to many animals and community members.  The current facility housing ECCHA has served them well for 25 years, but is starting to show its age.  The Be the Voice Community Campaign strives to raise the funds to build a new facility.  This building will enhance the quality of care that is provided for every animal. The new shelter will be more welcoming with a better designed internal traffic flow, larger living quarters for all the animals, an onsite veterinarian with a treatment unit, separate space for sick or injured animals, improved air circulation and plumbing, sound absorbing materials for noise reduction, dedicated education/meeting space for public use, and more parking. They hope to create an environment that will lead to happier, more adoptable animals. The Jayna Kelley Memorial Foundation is thrilled to contribute funds to this need. These funds will also be matched by an outside source.  We can’t wait to see the new facility when it is completed!
