Ronald McDonald House of Rochester – Angels of Inspiration

JKMF board member and president Brian Kelley met with Development Director Jamie Bingner to deliver a check for $5,000.

Wednesday, November 3rd, 2021 marks the 3-year anniversary of the unspeakable tragedy that took Jayna, Autumn, Haylee, and Sara from us so suddenly.  The Jayna Kelley Memorial Foundation is dedicated to preserving the memory of our beloved Jayna and making the world a better place in her honor.  Over the 8 days leading up to the 3rd, Jayna’s 2021 gifts to the world will be announced.  Each of the 6 foundation board members, along with Jayna’s sister Terra, were asked to help us spread the available funds in order to make a broad impact on the community.  We can’t wait to show everyone how Jayna is continuing to improve MANY lives by her foundation’s support of 10 local causes!  She couldn’t have done this without the amazing generosity of so many people.  Thank you!!

Ronald McDonald House of Rochester Angels of Inspiration – $5,000

The Ronald McDonald House in Rochester, MN is a place that is very near and dear to the Kelley family.  Two of Jayna’s cousins have spent extended periods of time at the house.

Unfortunately, approximately 20 families served by the Ronald McDonald House experience the unimaginable heartbreak of losing their child to childhood illness each year.  The goal of the Angels of Inspiration program is to honor these children and provide caring support to these families as they grieve the loss of their child.  The funds received from the Jayna Kelley Memorial Foundation will  be used to purchase Visa Gift Cards to be given to families, along with a very special stained glass piece as they grieve the loss of their child.  The purpose of these gift cards is to alleviate the stress of fulfilling basic needs (gas, groceries, toiletries, etc.) during an already stressful time.  A small gesture, paired with a beautiful stained glass piece provides comfort to families as they face the days ahead.
